Colour scheme is creamy beige, brown, black, green, yellow and the dish has a gold trim edge. The design carries the artist's signature. There are no pottery marks.
Brownie Downing (1924-1995) was a talented artist and Illustrator from Balgowlah, NSW. She is well known for her idealistic, naive style designs of Aboriginal figures.
The plate has two holes for hanging on a wall. Small enough for cabinet display or surface display.
In excellent condition with no damage.
