Royal Worcester Bud Vase - Vintage 1980. This small flower vase is decorated in pink, blue and green flora and finished with a gold trim. The base colour is a creamy white with a greenish tinge upwards from the neck of the vase.
The Worcester stamp on the base indicates Palissy. Palissy was the trade name of the pottery firm of A.E. Jones and Sons of Stoke-on-Trent who named their firm after Bernard Palissy, the famous French potter of the 16th century. Royal Worcester later purchased the Palissy Pottery. It is assumed that the design of this little vase is a tribute to that company.
The vase is in perfect condition. It measures 12 cm high by 4 cm diamter at the base.
